OS Anywhere Weather App Reviews

Working fine. I like the real time data and use it always when I travel to check the current weather at home. It would be great to expand the functionalities as the data is stored up to one year.

To be a real,replacement for the WMR200, it needs a bigger display natively built for the iPad...how long before this is available please?

Cant access Anywhere Weather nor my wx station anymore! When I look on the map, no station is displayed around the world, is there a big bug on the app or the server! Ill star this app better when everything is coming back or they solve the problem with an app update!

When I got the system, I was dismayed that I could not share the station with friends and noticed previous reviews noted this. That was nine months ago. Still cant share. I have farmland and farmers in this area farm some distances to get to ground. How nice to be able to see how much rain had fallen . BTW, why rate of fall instead of amount?

The app is a good attempt, but can work a lot smoother. It keeps loosing your weather station info and you have to keep re-entering. Also, it often just does not allow you to enter any info. Buggy app!!! Great product but terrible app! Running iOS 7.0.4, iPhone 5s 32gb

App continuously loses information and refuses to login. Have had no connectivity to weather station through the app since installing and configuring. Continues to time out while trying to login.

The app wont open and times out. You have to close the app, cross your fingers, and try to reopen it. This is just about useless.

I can only rarely connect to my weather station with this app. Most of the time I get a session timeout error message. The web connect is not much better either. It too mostly fails to connect giving an "invalid password" error message. Since these are the only two ways to get my weather without buying the optional display unit youd think theyd have that working pretty reliably. Well that is not the case. So far this is a big disappointment.

App constantly times out making the whole thing useless. Needs to be fixed before its usable.

This app does not work. Once I finally logged in, I had to drop a pin to register my station. But the drop pin function does not work. The weather station I bought is thus useless. Oregon Scientific apparently makes junk products, based on my experience, and returns are intentionally made difficult.

This app has potential but it is very unreliable in its current version. The app doesnt always connect with the hub. The 3 (temp/pressure, wind and rain) sensors have the same issues connecting to the antenna/hub. I just got this weather station for Xmas and Im not happy with its performance.

As you can see for the reviews, not one customer is happy!!!! Everything customers are writing is true….. After hours of encountering the same issues, I finally got it to work. How do you change it to F from C?

Looks like the tech team from OS came back from vacation for the holidays to work on the issues. After the first week in Jan the app has been more reliable. Too bad no one from the OS tech team tested the app and web service before they left for Christmas Break when a lot of people received these systems for gifts and subsequently posted a poor review. Still has some issues with history, but the live view has been consistently working. Original review: For the few moments this app/system worked it was promising. Unfortunately the app and web service are unreliable and buggy. So far a big disappointment for something that should be simple. :(

This app accompanies the anywhere weather station Kit. Its got some nice features but its limited in that you cant look at cumulative 24 hour rainfall. It would also be great if you could look at the history of your weather over different time periods. Cant wait until they do.

Just got my shiny new station.. This app allows some viewing, but it is little things like the dates on the charts show day/month. This isnt how we do it in the United States! I really wish there was a place to rename the channels instead of just channel 1, 2, 3 etc as I have several temp sensors. Also the chart always seems to be behind the actual reported values like they havent been plotted yet. It appears that the date/time axis in all of the charts are based on UTC, not the time zone where my station is located... This isnt cool! The app needs some work, I hope OS reads this....

The app shows everything the way I like it but for some reason there is no option to show local area weather in temperature and humidity from local wwather stations. I can only see that it is cloudy or sunny. How weird!

This app is pretty poorly put together… the most annoying being that there doesnt appear to be any way to see cumulative rainfall? I live in California and during the winter that is THE reason we bought the system. It seems like a VERY easy upgrade in software to get this app to a much more useable state… hope it comes soon… There are some other annoying features that I won’t go into… in general they have a long way to go with this… please do it soon!

The packaging, marketing, and overall look & feel of the equipment sets high expectations but this app is garbage. I bought this weather station so I could get real time and cumulative weather data from right outside the four walls of my house. Real time? Nope. Cumulative? Nope. Whats the point of rainfall history if you cant report hoe much rainfall you received overnight? Instead, you have to guess where the plot lines peak on the chart and add them up. Terrible. Also, seeing what the wind speed was 2 minutes ago is worthless for severe weather reporting. I need to know what the wind speed is now. Its also suspicious that my readings vary greatly from other weather stations in the area. Hmmm...

When Map is selected it defaults every time to the middle of the North Atlantic. The location of others that select "Everyone" for sharing does not appear after the first entry, neither does my location. Updating of History is sporadic for temp and rainfall. I am looking forward to a newer version.

I installed the latest version, but now my station info has disappeared. So I started to re-enter it. All was well until the second screen where I need to enter the time zone. When I tap on the field, nothing happens. Nothing to select. No keyboard for me to enter anything. Without that info, my station entry is rejected. Until this is fixed, I cant see any info from my weather station!
